Well, of course liberals want her to run - they want her to split the Republican vote, give the traditional conservatives a candidate they can vote for on principle, and so divide and conquer. Or, sure, let’s have Liz start a Conservative Party! Like Ross Perot’s Reform Party. That was the reason we got Bill Clinton, Twice!

Maybe that will happen. But liberals slathering g over the possibility will make it less likely rather than more likely.

Personally, I hope Cheney does run, and that she speaks the truth at every campaign stop and shames her party for its hideous embrace of the big lie. She’s courageous for that. And, it is the best of democracy to recognize and respect courage and principle in someone whose belief you disagree with.
