Tony, what an illuminating post! Thank you. As a Canadian/US citizen I’ve been puzzled and troubled by the differences between these two nations. I’ve also rankled at how US citizens are more often referred to as consumers - and indeed, treated more like animals to be exploited than people to be governed.
