Thought experiment: Imagine ANY democrat could beat Trump, and the real question is: who do we want to learn the nation for the next 4 years? This might remove some panic from the conversation, and allow us to think strategically. I am not sure the ability to govern well is all we should consider. But it deserves some weight--which I am not seeing at all.

To that end, I would like Joe to be more forthcoming about his cognitive abilities. His defensiveness to being attacked by his own supporters is understandable. And, he comes across as not being totally forthcoming. That need to change, if he is to earn back our trust.
