Thom, as Professional communicator I agree about the power of three.
And I think it will take more than that to succeed the midterm. Rather then farming their arguments better for those who are paying attention, I wish the Dems would focus more on getting non-engaged voters motivated to go to the polls.
And to do this, you need oe issue, pounded home again and again t wake people up.
To me, it's abortion rights. By relentlessly focusing on this issue, I believe many voters will show up to the polls, and maybe even contribute to campaigns. (I did- first time ever, to help unseat the pro-abortion Rep. in Maryland's First congressional district where I live).
Many conservatives are "single issue voters" because their churches tell them abortion is a sin.
The left has that same moral clarity around a woman's right to choose--and then it becomes a bigger issue about a minority overriding the will of the majority. Which ties back to the fascist turn the Republican party has made, including the treasonous attempt to overthrow the last election.
Dems, please wake up these people to the clear and present danger women -- and all of us -- are facing in this malevolent version of a once grand old party.
