This makes me so angry.

The cost of losing the war is not just Ukraine. It’s also for us. Not just a moral failure, but given what Russia intends to do, we will fight in Europe. It will be far more expensive in both blood and treasure. The same crowd in 1940 made similar arguments. We ended up fighting a global war. We are heading there for similar reasons from a similar group of Americans who think they are for the national interest. They are not unless that’s the national interest of Moscow.
