The world is neither fucked nor not-fucked. These are our human judgements of a world that just is itself. The Earth will barely notice the blip that is athropocentric climate change. Of course, humanity and the biosphere will notice. Many species will die off - quite possibly including us - but life will evolve and find new interesting forms that will feed on each other and thrive. WE, oh yes WE are fucked if we don't make some big changes pretty quick. Bu I find, as I strive to do what I can, that it is strangely comforting to know that the planet is going to get on just fine, either way.
