From what I have read about Sami noida, their spirit world did include evil forces...and the shaman had the power to curse as well as to heal with his/her drum. Reading Anders Poulsen's testimony, he says quite explicitly that he did not use his drum for evil purposes....in a way that made it quite clear that option was open to him!
