Thank you. Grim and realistic. We all need to get that into our head. What’s the point of continuing to campaign for action? There’s a world of difference between moderate and worst case scenarios. One important aspect worth writing about is the time we could buy by focusing first on Cutting Climate Super-Pollutants Now! (Google the book by that name by three prominent Climate authorities). This small group of chemicals are more potent than carbon and also degrade more quickly, so eliminating them will reduce actual warming trends more quickly than CO2 (they are: Methane, soot, HCFCs, and surface-level ozone). It’s doable. The Montreal Protocol that saved the ozone layer is a prototype for successful global action.
