Simon, what a thrilling narrative! I love the stories geology tells us about our planet. I did not your brief reference to the indigenous people of the area, excluded from the census - and, what you don’t say, perhaps excluded from all decisions about the fate of the iron rich land in which the dwelled. I would like to hear their story of the place too.
