On immigration, i think Harris needs more than policy proposals. I think she needs to frame the conversation as about values, and who we are as neighbors towards those who seem different than us.

Immigration is NOT about policy, it’s not even really about those who enter illegally—it is about how we view the “other” in our midst….um, I imagine you get that!

Strategically, she could then expose Trump’s anti immigrant rant for what they are - racism and xenophobia.
