Mark, while I’ve often felt let down by Senate Dems, would you be willing to admit that they have done some good — I’m thinking about the current climate bill, which yes, is too little too late thanks to JM, but it’s not nothing, and it required a lot of heavy lifting - and could still fail. But I just don’t see these folks as all talk no action.

I also fully agree with you that money has corrupted the system, and that our government verges on disfunction. Change is needed. I would urge you and others not to slide into despair that leads to apathy that leads to Republican wins. Because they are not hapless like many Dems. That have a vision for society, will and intelligence. I just don’t want to live in a non-Democratic fascist white nationalist state. So, I do my best to stay engaged somehow.
