Lauren, I mostly agree with your sentiments about the Dems - but you article is attacking the wrong people. It’s a Dem thing to tear down each other for not doing more, when there are others in power who are actually doing the damage. It’s like attacking your feckless generals while the enemy is dropping bombs. To me, it channels the anger in the wrong direction. I believe the court vote is an attack on the principle of liberty - a direct violation of the constitution and everything America holds dear. The court was anti-American in striking down Roe, and needs to be reformed. Expand the court, institute mandatory (“man”datory) retirement ages. That can only be done with Dem gains in Congress. I want to focus on that with the same single mindedness as Republicans showed us over Roe.

I would add, this is not a “women’s” issue. Not any more than voting rights are a black issue. Men must respectfully allow women to take the lead, but this is everyone’s fight. I want to know, what can I do to help fight back?
