Joe, this is one of the most achingly beautiful posts I have read on Medium. Thank you. Optimism with a broken heart. I’m not ready for that. I prefer Camus—which I’m paraphrasing/mangling here: “In the midst of an unending winter, to find within an invincible summer.”
Granted - it is easier to search for that invincible summer while in Paris.
