Jill, Thank you for sharing this horrible reality. I've been to the Okavango Delta myself. It is one of the most amazing, miraculous places on the planet. This cannot be allowed. Why don't you publish this on one of Medium's climate publications. While you are at it, why not find a publication in Alberta to write for, in response to the Rolling Stone Article? I'm sure it will be in the news for awhile. Call up your local CBC station. The fact that you have a story to tell from your time there might make you worth interviewing.

By the way - I worked the big triples in northern BC to pay my way through University. So, I have some bad karma to work off when it comes to ending fossil fuel dependence.
