I’ve also moved, but come back to visit friends and family. I care deeply about the USA, but like you, find life easier, much less risky (shooters, expensive healthcare), and way less toxic political atmosphere. Something really sad is happening in the US - one whole party embracing a lie that undermines the main political institution - fair elections.
