I think the Republican Party needs to rip itself apart, and I pray this will be the season for it. Then, I would like it to rebuild, perhaps on actual values, rather than xenophobia, prejudice and lust for power. (Who says they lack a platform?). We need two strong healthy parties to keep democracy vibrant and each party on its toes. The Dems have grown lazy—it’s to easy when your opponent quotes Hitler and has to announce that he never read Mein Kampf. Jesus.
