I don’t think he has enough “followers”. What he has is a lot of Low-Information voters who don’t follow politics but do vote. They think he’s good for the economy (because they don’t understand economics) or lowers taxes for billionaires (because they don’t understand their own best interests). Or, they simply always vote Republican.

I hope a chunk of those folks tuned in and were appalled by what they saw.
