I believe it is very important to make the simple narrative of the case clear:
The crime is fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud
Trump signed checks to Michael Cohen as legal business expenses. Cohen cashed this checks.

The crime was that those checks were fraudulent.
1.Cohen had no legal retainer. Cohen invoices for no expenses. These is no paper trail that legitimizes those checks. That is established fact.

2.The amount of the checks totals double the amount paid to Stormy Daniels as hush money. That is established fact. Cohen set up a shell company to make those payments. That is established fact.

3. Cohen testified that the checks to him were to payoff Daniels and compensate him for the extra tax liability (which is why the amount was doubled).

4. Pecker, former head of Nat Enquirer, has testified to being in on many conversations about hush money payments with Cohen and Trump. He has verified Trump’s involvement in those conversations.

5. And most important - there is NO testimony contradicting Cohen from others in those meetings - Trump and his former CFO. It the defense puts them on the stand, then they will be cross examined and if they lie commit the crime of perjury.

Can you imagine any innocent man NOT taking the stand to explain for himself what happened in those meetings?
