I agree - Disney removes moral ambiguity. But is that what you mean? Why not just say the catholic Church made strong and clear moral judgements of what were previously grey areas. I would not argue with that - who would? Why call this Disneyfication instead of moralising?

I have been thinking that by Disneyfied you mean made more palatable - making Grimm fairytales being made less grisly and terrifying.
