Honestly, isn’t this a big problem? The “American consumer” has been driving global trade. But this feeds an insatiable appetite for resources we all know is unsustainable. Consume less needs to be the global goal. Countries need to figure out a way to prosper that does not involve selling crap products to Americans. Or we all die.

So, let’s use Trump’s tarrif tantrums to figure out something better.
