Hi Tessa, I’m right with you on the level of denial - and also what’s maddening is that we could all change a lot very quickly - think Covid lockdown - if we truly faced reality.

It’s also true, though, that the rate of change of the climate will make a difference. I’m talking about slowing down enough to push climate tipping points far enough into the future that humans and nature have more time to adjust - to migrate, to adapt.

There is not good option, but the less bad option is a whole lot better than the real bad option.

It still requires people to work hard for…losing slower. But that’s way way better than losing faster.
