HI Liza, I have so much respect for your work and writings on Medium--I hope you become more and more influential on this site. For this reason, I would like to recommend you NOT repost the vile lies of Mr. MAGAgoo. The sad but simple truth is that even when we label something as a lie or an outrage, such things filter into our subconscious and end up impacting how we think and feel towards a candidate.
It's called the Illusory Truth Effect - Trump easily manipulates the media with his outrage, because when they report his lies and slanders, the media does most of the work for him, spreading it far and wide.
Think it has no impact?
Did you think Hillary Clinton was less than 100% Trustworthy?
Did you think Joe Biden might be too old to do a competent job as president?
-- Well, those were the very messages Trump was tweeting and posting relentlessly for years about his opponents.
So ask yourself this--how did you evaluate Clinton's trustworthiness or Biden's competency? If you are like most folks, you simply did a gut check -- and that "gut" gets unconsciousness affected by mean tweets that get repeated and eventually lodge in our unconscious mind.
So please, I implore you as an influential blogger, do not repeat Trump's lies and memes - you are aiding and abetting him when you do. Even if you deplore him while you are repeating his messages.
