Hi L.A. - thank you for again highlighting the challenges Biden will face if he choses not to run (and no matter what pressure he comes under, he will have to choose; the leadership can’t “make him” drop out.

I wish this whole mess had not happened. I think Biden has done an amazing job in his first term, and I would like him to continue. I’ve been angry at the “he’s too old” bandwagon - but mostly for their timing. We should have been having this conversation six months ago.

What does make sense to me is looking at the dynamics of the election. Personally, I think there are many potential candidates who could beat Trump. It will depend on the campaign as much as the candidate.

So, my one wish is that whatever course we want to take to defeat Trump, we resist predicting doom if our preferred path is not chosen.

So, please, as you continue correctly to advocate for Truth as our best weapon against Trump, let’s also keep that principle towards ourselves, and resist the urge to say “or else Trump wins…”.

It will never depend on Trump. It will always depend on our will, our strength, and our cooperation.
