Hi John, while it is indeed a fair question, should Biden be on the picket line, what I appreciate is the attention this is drawing to low worker wages in an era of high corporate profits. As a retiree, sort of, I don’t think corporate dividends so for shareholders should be prioritized over worker wages and benefits. Neoliberal economics and politics have grossly favored corps over the workers who build their prosperity. So, at least his actions are bringing our attention to bear.

I would also say that Reagan did at lot to undercut unions, and that political leadership at the top has played a role in the current wage stagnation. How else is Biden going to address this issue in a divided house?
