Hi John, I’m reading this because you recently read and commented on something I wrote. That’s for that. I’ve found your perspective different that much of what I find on Medium. I don’t agree with a lot of what you have written—of course, I often learn more reading what I disagree with than what I agree with. And on this point, I think you have reflected a common misunderstanding about what is and isn’t Alpha male behavior in primates. I wrote about it here, if you are interested.
