Hi Joe - Yes, trajectory for collapse likely shorter than what IPCC predicts. Irrevesable, most likely. Fixed? No. What we do in the next decade will alter the future, but its not fixed YET. Slowlying the pace of change might make a massive difference for the planet and duh, humanity. I for one will never be content to simply ride the plane down. In the long run when we are dead, the planet will recover. new weather patterns will stabilise. Earth will be fine. But we, right here and now, can make a difference.
Thie thing is, that differs e won't come from recycling our plastic bottles or driving a hybrid. It will come for citizen action that changes systems. That's a massive challenge. Well-what else are you doing?
