Hi Jessica. Old white guy here. I like your stuff, and I'm dismayed to hear about the problems you have had with Medium. And before (your previous column talked about your publishing experience). Awful. I'm also an author, and went on to become a publisher precisely because so many writers are treated poorly, especially breaking into the industry.

What I like about you (through your writing), is your fierce independence, thoughtful ideas, and ability to call it as you see it. To me, that is what Medium is all about.
