Hi Jacqueline, to answer your questions: parts of Europe have excellent healthcare that is much less expensive than the US - and prescription drug prices that will make you crazy because you will realize how the US drug companies rip every off. You can also get very affordable health insurance for travelers - about $200/month or less for a couple.

We have made some good friend ps in Paris, in part because we have been coming here regularly for a decade, a few weeks here, a few weeks there, and we always stay in the same place.
