Hi Anne, thank you for this great public service! Long ago I learned the rule or thirds from a nature photographer and have never looked through a viewfinder the same way since. Since you asked for some pictures, here is one of my photo-heavy posts, about Norway's "Little Red Houses" - cabins and cottages mostly in remote wilderness locations.
