Hi Adrienne,
I share your sentiments about Trump…and I’d like to also share my perspective about using fiction, faked photos and even clear satire to express that anger and disgust.
I believe he will continue to deflect all legitimate criticism of his as “fake news” - and as deep fakes become more common, the American electorate will find itself unable to believe anything they see or hear about him. That makes it harder to journalists and pundits to get the truth about him across. Sure, his supporters are immune to evidence. But a lot of people have yet to tune in to the election. They just don’t think about politics on a daily basis. And so photos like this simply become part of the misinformation noise out there - which ultimately works to his advantage.
If I were you, I would remove those photos. We can loath that monster for the truth about him, without muddying the water with fiction.
