Hey Lilith - how cool we can meet over your article and have a bit of a dialogue in what feels like "real time'. I hear you on AOC - remember being too young was raises as arguments against both Kennedy and Clinton. On the other side, Reagan was a the "poster grandpa" for the case against older presidents.

I definitely don;t think youth should be a barrier to public office. I think there might be a good case to make, however, for also creating a bar to keep those with zero experience in government out of federal office until they have worked in state offices first - to weed out the Santos/Geatz/Bobeirt kinds of opportunists.

Sadly, no matter what you, me and everyone else agrees on, the people in power are unlikely to restrict their own party's membership! Even criminals seem welcome in their midst (Santos/Melendez).
