Greg, this is the rare Medium post that I read twice! I’ve highlighted much, and find I am still wanting more. It’s one thing to talk about the failure of capitalism, and quite another to make overthrowing capitalism the starting point of any movement. While I don’t think capitalism is “the answer” to our current challenges, I think starting from zero is just too hard an option. So, clawing back from neo-liberalism to socialist-capitalist blends like most OECD nations, including taxing the rich and corporations does not seem soooo impossible a goal. One just needs a stronger bench than our current feckless Democratic leadership — someone recently described them as bringing a plastic knife to a nuclear war. Not wrong!

I’m actually familiar with complex adaptive systems — I will read your book.
