Gosh this does not square with my memory of the media coverage of the election - I was aggravated with the MSM for insisting the election was too close to call, for making the Blue Wall of MI, WI and PA appear to hang in the balance - and it turned out they were right about that. 220k votes swung the other way would have delivered a Harris presidency.

And the country did not turn towards Trump, it simply did not show up strongly enough for Harris. Just enough Misogyny and Racism amount the low information voters to make a difference.
