Gosh, I fear this creates a false impression that Tibetans don’t have it so bad…I’m sure you are aware that many monk have self immolated in the past few decades - a desperate measure, especially for a monk. I don’t think more of us can imagine the kind of pressure cooker Tibetans live under. To say they are resilient is like saying Ukrainians are resilient…there needs to be a better word for this kind of inner strength.
