Dear Sandra - suppose all that you say is true. So what will you do? What will every one of your readers do? Is there an ounce of practical difference between magical thinking and cynical detachment? Sure there are lots of great reasons to be disgusted by Trump and MAGA. And a ton more to be disgusted at the Democrats patting themselves on the back for losing graciously. Like it’s a frigging baseball game.

But our values are not revealed by our disgust or our opinions. Our values are revealed by our actions. Words can be actions - they can motivate and mobilize. So - where’s the actions that your work points us towards? Today and for the next four years? (Please read my own Medium post from today for my take on this - I invite your incisive response!)
