Dear Richard, what an excellent article.

I analyzed Trump’s hold over the media in my book, ProTruth, and concluded he is like a super-predator invading the media landscape. He violates norms and rings alarm bells in a way they can’t resist covering - because the outrage always seems like news. There’s more than that of course, but 8 years on, they still have not effectively covered Trump. And dammit, they better figure this shit out fast.
