Caren, I disagree. This election is not a spectator sport. Will we fiddle while Rome burns? Republicans have changed the rules. This won’t be a campaign about policy, vision, or even party loyalty. They view it as an existential fight for the dominance of the white male, personified by Trump, their hero. Dems who blithely assume Trump is a sideshow and not a monster bent on tearing down the system are part of the problem.
