Beyond that, I’m starting to think Lord of the Rings has much to offer about how to resist evil -and overcome the tendency to despair among us in the face of it. We who would thwart Trump truly need to find all our courage to do so. Absolutely no time for hand wringing or defeatism. Turn that energy into a force of will and help others to find it too.
