Andrew, I’m a fan of the book American Nations, which follows this map of North America. And I agree the Dems are too old and too out of touch. beyond that, it is False Equivalence to claim there’s no difference between the two main Parties and that neither is worth voting for. The easy result is many folks who care sitting out the election or sulkily supporting spoiler parties. Democracy is almost always a choice between to imperfect alternatives. But Trump’s fascist, post Truth America is worst than the Democrat’s fuzzy desire to politic like sit 1999.

Yes, big change is needed. But the side that wants to burn it all down first and establish a fascist republic will not be the ones to create something new.

So, why not run for office yourself?
