Andrew, I don’t doubt your sincerity, but I do question the value of your many posts predicting Trump will win and the American union is doomed. It’s not written in stone. But will your works incline readers to action or defeatism? I for one intend to volunteer for the Dems, ideally in PA, and to to whatever I can to fight the MAGA threat to democracy, which I believe is more about racism than economic disaffection.

I would urge you to ask yourself, as a person of influence—at least on Medium—to what end are you writing? Will your words help creat a better or worse future?
